HMS Namur (1756)  (2nd)
2nd Rate 90-gun

    
This the second ship to carry the name HMS Namur was a second rate, 90-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 03-Mar-1756, 175ft long, 49ft wide and of 1,814 tons builders measurement.

Re-rated to a third rate, 74-gun ship 1805.

Used for harbour service from Sep-1807.

Broken up May-1833 at Chatham.

Won the Battle Honours: Louisburg 1758, Lagos 1759, Quiberon Bay 1759, Havana 1762, The Saints 1782, St. Vincent 1797 and Bay of Biscay 1805.
