HMS Monmouth (1796) (4th)

This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Monmouth was a third
rate, 64-gun ship-of-the-line.
Built by Randall of Rotherhithe, originally an Indiaman called Belmont but bought on the stocks and renamed Monmouth. Launched 23-Apr-1796, 173ft long, 43ft 6in wide, and of 1,439 tons builders measurement. Reduced to a sheer hulk Jun-1815. Broken up at Deptford May-1834. Won the Battle Honour: Camperdown 1797 and Egypt 1801.
