HMS Minotaur (1908) CC  (4th)

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Minotaur was an armoured cruiser.

Built at Devonport Dockyard, laid down 02-Jan-1905, launched 06-Jun-1906, and completed 01-Apr-1908.

On completion joined the Home Fleet 1908-10, then to the China Station as Flagship 1910-14.

Took part in the bombardment of the German wireless station at Yap in the Pacific.  Escorted Australian trop convoys Nov-1914, then joined the Cape Station as Flagship Dec-1914-15.

Returned to the UK to refit 1915-16. Joined the Grand Fleet as Flagship 2nd Cruiser Squadron 1916-19.

Went into reserve 1919-20.

Sold 12-Apr-1920.

Won the Battle Honour: Jutland 1916.
