HMS Leven (1813)  (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Leven was a sixth rate, 20-gun, ship.

Built by Bailey of Ipswich launched 23-Dec-1813, 116ft long, 30ft wide and of 464 tons builders measurement. Armed with 18 x 32pdr and 2 x 9pdr guns.

Used as a survey ship from 1820, then for harbour service from 1827.

Broken up Jul-1848.
