This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Juno was a 2nd Class,
Protected Cruiser. Built by NC&A (Vickers) of Barrow, laid down 22-Jun-1894, launched 16-Nov-1895, and completed 16-Jun-1897. On completed remained in reserve at Devonport 1897-99, joined the Cruiser Squadron 1899-1902 during which she escorted the Royal Yacht Ophir on an Empire Cruise 1901. Remained in the UK 1902-04. Then to the Mediterranean 1905-09. Returned to the UK and the Home Fleet Battle Squadron 1910, the 3rd Fleet 1911-14, West Coast of Ireland patrol 1914-15. Then out to the Red Sea and Persian Gulf 1915-17, East Indies 1917-19. Finally returned to the UK and paid off at the Nore 1920. Sold 24-Sep-1920 and broken up at Denmark.
