HMS Howe (1889) BB  (4th)

    
This HMS Howe was the fourth to carry the name was one of five Admiral Class battleships.

Built at Pembroke Dock, laid down Jun-1882, launched 28-Apr-1885 and completed Jul-1889.

She joined the Channel Fleet in 1890. While in the Mediterranean on manoeuvres ran aground, and eventually salvaged. After repair she went back to the Mediterranean from 1893-96. After this she returned to home waters as either guardship or in Reserve.

Sold 11-Oct-1910 and broken up at Briton Ferry Jan-1912.
