This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Hawke was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 16-Mar-1820, 176ft long, 48ft 6in wide and of 1,754 tons builders measurement.

Conversion to a screw ship completed May-1855.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856.

Broken up 1865.

Won the Battle Honour: Baltic 1855.
