This the eleventh ship to carry the name HMS Hart was an accommodation ship.

Originally HMS Rapid, a screw corvette, built at Devonport Dockyard, launched 21-Mar-1883, 200ft long, 38ft wide and displacing 1,420 tons. Armed with 2 x 6in and 10 x 5in guns.

Hulked 1906, used as the coal hulk C.7, in 1912.

Renamed HMS Hart 1916 and used as an accommodation ship.

Sold 1948 at Gibraltar.
