HMS Grenville (1742) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Grenville was a
12-gun, schooner. Originally the Sally, bought at Newfoundland 07-Aug-1763 and renamed; 66ft long, 17ft wide and of 69 tons builders measurement. Used as a survey brig from 1764. Broken up Mar-1775.
