HMS Forward (1905) CC  (4th)

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Forward was the name ship of a Class of two Scout Cruisers.

Built by Fairfield of Govan, laid down 22-Oct-1903, launched 27-Aug-1904 and completed 22-Aug-1905.

On completion went into reserve 1905-07, then joined the Channel Fleet 1907-09. Served as Leader to the 2nd Destroyer Flotilla, Home Fleet, 1909, and similar work at Portsmouth 1909-10. 3rd Fleet 1910-14, the Shetland Patrol 1914, Humber 1914-15.

To the Mediterranean 1915-18.

Paid off at the Nore 1919.

Sold 1921.
