This the second ship to carry the name HMS Fervent was an
Albacore class, 4 gun, wooden screw gunboat. Built by Green of Blackwall, laid down 26-Aug-1855, launched 23-Jan-1856 and completed 24-Mar-1856. Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856. Broken up at Devonport Feb-1879.
