This the ninth ship to carry the name HMS Falmouth was a Type
12 Rothesay Class, anti-submarine frigate. Built by Swan Hunter, launched 12-Dec-1959, commissioned 25-Jul-1961. Used as a harbour training ship from 1984 to 1988. Then a target ship. Arrived at El Ferrol 08-May-1989 for breaking up.
