3rd Rate 70-guns

    
The third ship to carry the name Edinburgh was a third rate of 70 guns, launched in 1811.

Conversion to a screw ship completed 31-Dec-1846.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1853 and the Royal Fleet Review 1856.

Sold Nov-1865.

Won the Battle Honours: Syria 1840 and Baltic 1854-55.
