HMS Eclipse (1819) (4th)

This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Eclipse was a
10-gun, Cherokee Class, brig-sloop. Built at Plymouth Dockyard, launched 23-Jul-1819, 90ft long, .24ft 6in wide and of 235 tons builders measurement, displacing 297 tons. Converted to a packet brig, Sep-1923. Transferred to the Coastguard Dec-1836. Renamed WV21, 25-May-1863. Sold 10-Nov-11865 at Charlton for breaking up.
