This the second ship to carry the name HMS Eastbourne was a Type 12 Whitby Class, frigate.

Built by Vickers Armstrong on the Tyne, launched 29-Dec-1955, commissioned 09-Jan-1958.

Decommissioned 1973.

Appeared at the Silver Jubilee Review 1977.

Arrived at Inverkeithing 07-Mar-1985, for breaking up.
