HMS Dunkirk (1660) (2nd)

This the second ship to carry the name HMS Dunkirk was a
fourth rate, 48-gun, ship-of-the-line. Originally HMS Worcester, a 48-gun ship. Launched 1651, 141ft 6in long, 33ft 6in wide and of 662 tons builders measurement (bm). Renamed HMS Dunkirk 1660 and rated a 4th Rate, 48-gun, ship-of-the-line. Rebuilt 1704 at Blackwall as 906 tons bm. Rebuilt again 1734 at Portsmouth as 965 tons bm and 60-guns. Broken up Mar-1749 at Woolwich. Won the Battle Honours: Lowestoft 1665, Orfordness 1666, Sole Bay 1672, Schooneveld 1673, Texel 1673 and Passero 1718.
