Composite Screw Gunboat 4-gun

    
This the twelfth ship to carry the name HMS Cygnet was a 4-gun, composite screw gunboat.

Built at Doxford, launched 30-May-1874, 125ft long, 23ft 6in wide and displacing 455 tons. Armed with 2 x 64pdr MLR and 2 x 20pdr guns.

Broken up 1889.

Won the Battle Honour: Alexandria 1882.
