This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Cygnet was a 16-gun, sloop.

Built by Palmer of Yarmouth, launched 06-Sep-1804, 106ft long, 28ft wide and of 365 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 07-Mar-1815 Courantine River, Guiana.

Won the Battle Honour: Guadeloupe 1810.
