HMS Cromwell (1946) DD  (1st)

     
This the only ship to carry the name HMS Cromwell was a Cr Class, destroyer.

Built by Scotts, laid down 4-Nov-1943, launched 06-Aug-1945, as HMS Cretan, and renamed Jun-1946. Commissioned 16-Sep-1946.

Sold Jul-1946 to the Royal Norwegian Navy, and renamed Bergen.

Sold Jan-1967 for breaking up.
