HMS Cressy (1853) (2nd)

This the second ship to carry the name HMS Cressy was a screw
third rate, 80-gun, ship-of-the-line. Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 21-Jul-1853, 198ft long, 55ft wide and of 2,539 tons builders measurement. Armed with 14 x 8in, and 66 x 32pdr guns. Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856. Sold 1867. Won the Battle Honour: Baltic 1854-55.
