Composite Screw Gunboat 4-gun

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Coquette was a 4-gun, composite screw gunboat.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 05-Apr-1871, 125ft long, 23ft wide, of 295 tons builders measurement and displacing 430 tons. Armed with 2 x 64pdr and 2 x 20pdr guns.

Sold Aug-1889.

Won the Battle Honour: Ashantee 1873-74.
