HMS Childers (1778) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Childers was a
14-gun, brig-sloop. Built by Mentone on the River Thames, launched 07-Sep-1778, 80ft long, 25ft wide and of 202 tons builders measurement. Broken up at Chatham 1811.
