HMS Chichester (1785)  (3rd)

This the third ship to carry the name HMS Chichester was a fifth rate, 44-gun, ship.

Built by Taylor of Itchenor, launched 10-Mar-1785, 140ft long, 38ft 6in wide and of 901 tons builders measurement.

Used as a storeship from 1799.

Loaned to the West India Dock Co as a training ship, Mar-1810.

Broken up Jun-1815.
