This the second ship to carry the name HMS Chichester was a third rate, 70-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 04-Jun-1753, 160ft long, 45ft wide and of 1,401 tons builders measurement.

Broken up Oct-1803.

Won the Battle Honours: Quiberon Bay 1759, Belle Isle 1761 and Egypt 1801.
