This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Carron was a
minesweeper. Built by Richards of Great Yarmouth, launched 23-Sep-1983, 156ft 3in long, 34ft 6in wide and displacing 890 tons. Armed with 1 x 40mm gun. Sold to the Bangladeshi Navy 03-Sep-1994 and renamed Shaikat.
