This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Caledonia was a training
ship, displacing 56,621 tons. Built by Ward Shipbuilders, and handed over 08-Oct-1937 in exchange for obsolete warships. Commissioned 23-Apr-1937. Burnt by accident at Rosyth 29-Sep-1939. Wreck sold Mar-1943, raised 27-Jul-1943 and broken up at Inverkeithing.
