This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Blanche was a fifth rate, 38-gun, ship.

Originally Spanish, captured 25-Nov-1804, by HMS Donegal, off Cadiz, 150ft long, 40ft wide and of 1,036 tons builders measurement.

Renamed HMS Blanche 03-Dec-1805.

Wrecked 04-Mar-1807 off Ushant.
