HMS Black Prince (1906) CC  (4th)

     
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Black Prince was an Armoured Cruiser.

Built by Thames Iron Works of Blackwall, laid down 03-Jun-1903, launched 08-Nov-1904, and completed 17-Mar-1906.

On completion joined the Atlantic Fleet 1906-08, Channel Fleet 1908-09, then back to the Atlantic Fleet 1909-12.

To the Mediterranean 1912-14.

Joined the Grand Fleet Dec/1914-16.

Sunk by gunfire in action at the Battle of Jutland 31-May-1916.

Won the Battle Honour: Jutland 1916.
