This the second ship to carry the name HMS Black Prince was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 30-Mar-1816, 176ft long, 48ft 6in wide and of 1,751 tons builders measurement.

Used as a prison ship from 1848.

Broken up at Portsmouth Feb-1855.
