HMS Avon (1867) (4th)

This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Avon was a 4-gun,
composite screw gunvessel. Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 02-Oct-1867, 155ft long, 25ft wide, of 467 tons builders measurement and displacing 603 tons. Armed with 1 x 7in, 1 x 64pdr and 2 x 20pdr guns. Sold 26-Apr-1890.
