This the third HMS Audacious, was one of the King George V Class
battleships, which were built as part of the British 1911 expansion
programme.
She was laid down in Feb-1911, launched 14-Sep-1912 and completed in Oct-1913. While on patrol off Ireland, 27-Oct-1914 she struck a mine, and was sunk. She was the first major British warship lost in World War I.
