This the third ship to carry the name HMS Astraea was a fifth rate, 36-gun, ship.

Built by Guillaume of Northam, launched May-1810, 145ft long, 38ft 6in wide and of 956 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from Aug-1823.

Broken up Apr-1851.

Won the Battle Honour: Tamatave 1811.
