This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Archer is the lead
ship of the P2000 Class of 16 fast patrol boats. Built by Watercraft, launched 25-Jun-1985. Assigned as the Aberdeen University, University Royal Navy Unit (UNRU) Mar-1991. Took part in the Trafalgar 200 Fleet Review. Transferred to the Firth of Forth Sep-2012 as newly created East of Scotland UNRU which replaced the Aberdeen UNRU. In service Apr-2012.
