HMS Amphion (1887) CC  (4th)

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Amphion was a Leander Class, 2nd class cruiser.

Built at Pembroke Dockyard, laid down 25-Apr-1881, launched 13-Oct-1883, and completed 1887.

On completion remained at Devonport 1887-88, then went to the Pacific 188-90. Moved to the Mediterranean 18890-95 after which she returned to the UK 1895-97.

It was back to the Pacific 1897-1904, (but underwent refit during 1900).

Returned to the UK 1905 and was paid off 1906.

Sold May-1906.
