V & W Class Leaders (1917) DD |

April 1916 an improved design was used for destroyer leaders and these were
ordered from the ninth war programme. They followed on from the
Parker Class (1916)
leaders. They were to a similar design to the V and W class ships and intended to be leaders for their flotillas.
