Crescent Class (1894) CC |

| The two
ships of the Crescent Class (1894) were 1st Class Protected Cruisers, part
of the 1889 construction programme. They were virtually the same as the Edgar Class (1893), but has a higher forecastle. Both ships were sheathed and coppered for tropical service.
