HMS Zubian (1917) DD  (1st)

    
This the only ship to carry the name HMS Zubian was a Tribal Class (1907) torpedo boat destroyer.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 1917, and constructed from joining the forward part of HMS Zulu to the stern part of her sister ship HMS Nubian. Whose respective stern and forward parts had been wrecked by enemy action. Zubian was 288ft long, 27ft wide displaced 1,027 tons and armed with 2 x 4in guns and 2 x torpedo tubes.

Sold 09-Dec-1919 to Fryer of Sunderland.

Won the Battle Honour: Zeebrugge 1918.
