This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Vixen was a V Class
(1943), destroyer. Built by White, laid down 31-Oct-1942, launched 14-Sep-1943, and commissioned 28-Feb-1944. Transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy 05-Mar-1944 and renamed Sioux. Converted to a frigate 1959. Arrived at Spezia 28-Aug-1965 for breaking up.
