HMS Vixen (1865) (3rd)

This the third ship to carry the name HMS Vixen was a 4-gun,
armoured composite gunboat. Built by Lungley of Deptford, launched 18-Nov-1865, 160ft long, 32ft wide, of 754 tons builders measurement and displacing 1,230 tons. Armed with 2 x 7in and 2 x 20pdr guns. Was the first twin screw and first composite vessel in the Royal Navy. Broken up 11-Oct-1895.
