This the third ship to carry the name HMS Trydent/Trident was a third rate, 64-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Plymouth Dockyard, launched 20-Apr-1768, 159ft long, 44ft 6in wide and of 1,366 tons builders measurement.

Sold 03-Jul-1816 at Malta.

Won the Battle Honour: Cape of Good Hope 1795.
