2nd Rate 80-gun 

    
This the first ship to carry the name HMS Torbay was a second rate, 80-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 16-Dec-1693, 156ft long, 42ft wide and of 1,202 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt Woolwich 1719 as 1,296 tons bm.

Broken up at Portsmouth 01-Jan-1749.

Won the Battle Honours: Vigo 1702, Velez Malaga1704.
