Wooden Screw Frigate 51-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Topaze was a 51-gun, wooden screw frigate.

Built at Devonport Dockyard, launched 12-May-1858, 235ft long, 50ft wide, of 2,659 tons builders measurement and displacing 3,915 tons. Armed with 30 x 8in , a x 68pdr and 20 x 32pdr guns.

Sold 14-Feb-1884.
