3rd Rate 74-gun

    
This the first ship to carry the name HMS Theseus was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built by Perry of Blackwall, launched 25-Sep-1786, 170ft long, 47ft 6in wide and of 1,660 tons builders measurement.

Broken up at Chatham May-1814.

Won the Battle Honours: Nile 1798, Acre 1799 and Basque Roads 1809.
