3rd Rate 74-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Terrible was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line. 

Originally French, captured off Cape Finisterre 14-Oct-1747, 164ft long, 47ft 6in wide and of 1,590 tons builders measurement.

Broken up at Chatham 16-Feb-1763.

Won the Battle Honours: Louisburg 1758 and Quebec 1759.
