HMS Taku (1900) TBD  (1st)

    
This the first ship to carry the name HMS Taku was a torpedo boat destroyer.

Originally the Chinese Navy Ship Hai Lung, captured 17-Jun-1900 during the Boxer Rebellion.

Built in Germany by Schichau of Elbing in Germany, launched 1898, delivered 1899 and captured 17-Jun-1900.

Spent her entire service on the China Station and was sold at Hong Kong 25-Oct-1916.
