This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Sylph was a tender.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 15-Jun-1821, although not listed until 1832, 62ft long, 21ft wide and of 114 tons builders measurement.

Loaned to the Customs Service 15-Sep-1862 as a watch vessel.

Sold Jul-1888.
