Composite Screw Gunboat 4-gun

    
This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Stork was a 4-gun,  composite screw gunboat.

Built by Samuda of Poplar, launched 18-May-1882, 125ft long, 23ft 6in wide, displacing 465 tons. Armed with 2 x 64pdr and 2 x 20pdr guns.

Used as a Survey Ship from 1887.

Loaned as a training ship Mar-1913.

Broken up 1950 by Shaws of Kent, Lower Rainham, with the hull used as a wharf.
