This the first ship to carry the name HMS St Andrew was a 50-gun Gallon, of 900 tons builders measurement.

Armed with 8 x 18pdr, 21 x 9pdr, 7 x 6pdr and 14 other smaller guns.

Originally Spanish and captured at Cadiz Jun-1596.

Given away 1604.
