This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Ribble was a
minesweeper. Built by Richards of Great Yarmouth, launched 07-May-1985, 156ft 3in long, 34ft 6in wide, and displacing 890 tons. Armed with 1 x 40mm gun. Transferred to the Brazilian Navy 31-Jan-1995 and renamed Garnier Sampaio.
