This the fourteenth ship to carry the name HMS Ranger was a
P2000 Class, fast patrol boat. Built by Watercraft, launched 1986 and completed by Vosper-Thornycroft Sep-1988. On commissioning went to the Gibraltar Squadron. Returned to the UK and assigned as the Sussex University, University Royal Navy Unit early-2004. Took part in the Trafalgar 200 Fleet Review. In service Mar-2011.
